I had hoped for more from Johnny and Jack. Perhaps recorded after their better days?

This is not that Johnny & Jack. I think this might be Country Johnny Mathis and someone else but not sure of that either. Maybe Bruce, Mellow or Drunken Hobo can enlighten us?

Seems to be a Starday/Dixie recording. THe lead vocalist on "I've Got a New Heartache" sounds like Earl Aycock. "I've Got a New Heartache" was issued on Dixie 513 and 516 with no artist credits, unfortunately I did not heard them yet. On "You're Running Wild," Howdy is possibly right with Country Johnny Mathis.

According to RCS it's Johnny Tyler and Jack Williams. This same paring of songs shows up on RCS's discography of Tops as 296 and credited to an uncredited George Jones, (the Dixie releases I suppose). "Singing the Blues" on the flip of this record was also recorded by George on Dixie 517, (uncredited of course) and appears on the Tops 296 release.

Searching a bit on the Dixie releases indicates that the Dixie 516 release has both of these songs on it, and whie uncredited, it's believed that it was either George Jones or Benny Barnes. George later recorded and released "You've got a New Hearache" with Gene Pitney (it's on You Tube) so I'm betting it was George on the Dixie release.

& I've no Idea Maybe Alcock & George Jones? Nice find though Cheers Waiting for the flip.

Utube has the flip One Woman Man as Leon Payne & Jack Williams & The Nashville Playboys & and dates it as 1956 might be correct?

& With Johnny Tyler being on the others side with "Singing The Blues" does Johnny = Johnny Tyler & Jack = Jack Williams?

I knew the flip was George. I have the Dixie version with him doing it. I just bought a 4 disc set of tops hits with the original cover if anyone is interested in me posting it. It has 16 songs total 4 forty-five rpm records with an outer package. First time I have ever seen it.
