This is truly too good. Religious persecution, Siberia, snow - the USSR was not the place to be in the 60's was it?
A quick look about the net and unfortunately we find out that Vancie is no longer with us, she passed away in 2008 in Bakersfield at the age of 83.
Of this release Billboard says in it's August 22nd 1960 edition. "This country side has its subject matter the difference between Communist and Western ideologies. Good vocal"
