What a great song!! Where do you keep pulling these up from Howdy?
Looks like Ed passed on in Dec of 2008 in Alexandria Virginia where he had been living since 1957. He was a police officer for his day job. Here's a short excerpt from his obituary
" In 1954 he and his band performed on the morning show at WHEE radio in Martinsville, Virginia. In 1963 his record, “Ed Cassady and the Hidden Valley Ramblers” was released."
Do you have a date on the record? In July of 67' they were at 752
