Ralph Compton the producer owned the Rhinestone Rooster label. I found an add from a 1983 Gadsden Al paper looking for musicians to audition for the "Rhinestone Rooster Review" a new all music television series that was going to be taped in Nashville the next year -I couldn't find if it ever was.
Wonder if this Ralph Compton is the same Ralph Compton that wrote "The Goodnight Trail" and many other westerns http://www.amazon.com/The-Goodnight-Trail-Drive-No-1/dp/0312928157. He was originally from Alabama.
