Earl K Was the Governor of Louisiana that the Movie Blaze was about. Paul Newman played Earl K Long. Jay was actually in the movie. I spoke with Earl a couple times three years ago and helped him reunite with Gene Williams through one of my now Dead blogs. He is a Hoot!

Gene Williams who hosted the Country Junction show in Jonesboro?
Mellow_ Yes he was on Gene's TV show and they performed together before he went out to Las Vegas.
Was Earl some kind of a singer turned politician?
