Verdun is misspelled, it's Verden and yes Floyd did live there, he was Floyd J Arthurs had 3 sisters Willadean, Analee and Betty Jean and three brothers Raymond, James and Vern.
1963 had a rather tragic start for the Arthurs family. On Jan 6th Wiladeen was hit and killed by a truck in San Jose California and on Jan 10th Agnes Arthurs matron of the family died. They were buried in a joint ceremony on Jan 17th. It was definitely NOT the way to start the new year and we can only hope things got better for the family.
